Sumvela is a computational engine. Final responsibility for financial results rests with you as the professional.

Fair Use

Use the platform responsibly. Don't abuse our APIs or attempt to reverse-engineer the system.

1. Acceptable Use

Sumvela is a professional-grade calculation engine intended for integration into business-critical applications. By using the platform, you agree to utilize it for its intended purpose of financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis in a professional environment.

Permitted Uses

  • Engine Embedding: Embed the Sumvela engine directly into your commercial or internal products.
  • Redistribution: Redistribute your own applications that incorporate the Sumvela engine to your end-users.
  • Service Offering: Offer consulting, modeling, or automated services that utilize the Sumvela engine as part of your value proposition.

Prohibited Uses

  • Reverse Engineering: Attempting to extract our computational engine or DSL code.
  • Reselling Platform Access: You may charge for your consulting services, but not for raw platform access.

2. Intellectual Property

Our Engine: The Sumvela software and calculation engine remain our property. You receive a license per your subscription.

CodeMirror Plugin: We provide a batteries-included CodeMirror plugin for syntax highlighting and code completion. This plugin is included with your license for use within your licensed applications.

3. Delivery & Fulfillment

Custom Licensing: Sumvela licenses are provided based on individual service agreements. Pricing and terms are determined through consultation.

Evaluation Period: We may offer evaluation periods as specified in your individual license agreement.

Delivery: Access is provided according to your agreement, typically via private NuGet credentials or source code repository access.

4. Limitation of Liability

User Responsibility: You assume full and sole responsibility for the outputs generated by the Sumvela engine. This includes the accuracy, completeness, and suitability of any calculations, formulas, or financial models for your specific use case.

No Financial Advice: Sumvela provides computational tools, not financial advice. We are not liable for any financial losses or decisions made based on model outputs.
